I’m putting my 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac up for sale. It’s a bit of a bummer to let it go, but we’ve got a growing family and needed something with more space. This Explorer’s been a real workhorse for us. It’s got a solid 4.0L V6, which has always had plenty of power for towing and hauling. It’s got about 100,000 miles on it, mostly used for family trips and hauling stuff around. It’s got the 4WD, which is great for those less-than-perfect roads.
The interior’s spacious, and it’s got comfortable leather seats. It’s got a good AM/FM radio and CD player,and cup holders. the truck bed is great for hauling things like sports equipment or furniture. I’ve found it’s been a fantastic car for long trips and for hauling around our gear.

It’s in really good shape. The body’s original, hasn’t been repainted, and the engine and transmission are solid. I’ve kept up with the regular maintenance, so it’s ready to go. It gets about 15 MPG in the city and 20 on the highway, which isn’t bad for a V6.It’s got anti-lock brakes and airbags for safety as well as a 5-speed automatic transmission.
