I’m selling this 2000 Caterpillar 3406 engine. It’s a foreign used engine, but it’s been a real workhorse for me. It’s got a massive 500 horsepower and 1,850 lb-ft of torque. I’ve found that it’s super reliable, and I’ve always kept up with the maintainance.It’s got about 3406 cubic inches of displacement and weighs around 2,800 lbs. It gets about 6-8 MPG, which isn’t the best, but it’s a diesel.

It’s got great aftermarket support, too, so finding parts shouldn’t be a problem. And it’s got a really good cooling system, which is vital for something this powerful. It’s been great for heavy-duty trucks and has been used in a lot of different applications.It meets all EPA standards.
