I’m selling a 1980 Caterpillar 966B. It’s a heavy-duty loader, and it’s been a workhorse for me. But I’ve got other projects now, so it’s time for it to find a new home. It’s been used, of course, but it’s in pretty good shape. I’m expecting it to be a great investment for the next owner. It’s got a Caterpillar diesel engine, a power shift transmission, and a 3.0-3.5 cubic yard bucket capacity. It’s got about 18,000-20,000 lbs operating weight.

I’ve got it priced to sell quickly. I’m also guaranteeing no major repairs for the next four to five years. It’s perfect for burrow pits and continuous work. I’ve found that regular maintenance, like oil changes, is key.
