I’m putting my old Caterpillar 980B payloader up for sale. It’s a 1990 model, foreign used, and it’s got a 4.5 cubic yard bucket. It’s got about 40,000 lbs operating weight, and a 200 HP Caterpillar 3176B engine. It’s a power shift transmission,and a closed center hydraulic system. The maximum lift height is 10 feet 6 inches, and it has a 7.5-ton payload capacity.It’s been fully operational and ready to go.
I’ve kept up with the regular maintenance, so it’s in great shape.It’s been a reliable workhorse for me, and I think it would be a great addition to anyone’s fleet. To be fair, it’s been mostly used on the highway, so it hasn’t been driven too hard.
