I’m putting my 2004 Volkswagen LT35 ambulance up for sale. It’s been a great vehicle for us, but it’s just not the right fit anymore. This ambulance is a solid, reliable ride. It’s got a 2.4L inline-5 diesel engine, which has always given us plenty of power, even with the extra weight. It features a 5-speed manual transmission and has a 75-liter diesel tank, so you won’t be stopping for gas every other block.
It’s got a huge interior, perfect for transporting up to eight patients and medical staff. It includes adjustable stretchers and medical storage drawers, allowing you to customize it to your needs. The vehicle is equipped with flashing lights and sirens, along with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) for safety. It measures 5.5m long, 2m wide, and 2.5m tall while weighing in at 3.5 tons.

To be fair, it’s been a workhorse for us and has always been well-maintained; I’ve kept up with all the regular maintenance and it’s always been reliable. I think it would be a great ambulance for someone or even a really unique vehicle for other uses due to its space and power capabilities.
